In the past years the internet has changed in many different ways and there are a lot of advantages and disadvantages that some people would agree or disagree on.These are my disadvantages and advantages.
I whole heartily agree with this statement because it has free will and power to choose movies/tv shows rantings to,which artists to support and make them become famous and immediately get information/news and share it on social media.
The internet has changed dramatically during the 40 years, it has been said that the consumers all had the same point of view and also the same opinions in 2018, however before 2018 the internet used newspapers, CD's and magazines. Unfortunately the consumers 40 years ago had to wait or buy the media they were watching however in 2018 you can record/save your media and watch it whenever you want.it could be like TV shows or YouTube video ext. However internet has changed the media since the audience have many options/resources to obtain the internet.It is shown by people using their laptop,tablet and phone to absorb the information then back then 40 years ago you had to wait until the next magazine/newspaper and episode to come.However not all changes has happen like people were predicting we will get flying cars in 2016.The internet has give n more opportunity and more competition to people singing on YouTube since its a free way to self promote yourself and its a better chance to get famous then sell posters.
However it is much more easier than writing information about the media to be put on a newspaper and magazine's then presenting actual worldwide news on television.However it was harder to get information back than since you had to travel to the certain country so you can interview a knowledgeable person but lucky enough for us we can email or Skype a person.A advantage is that there are many other people's point of views to something that had happened and was mentioned in.However you can hear other people's point of view which might possibly affect the way you were thinking before and might change your mind.one of the most biggest disadvantages is that there is a lot of fake news.allot of people could be craving for attention and really want their (fake news) to be a topic that's talked about frequently, which is a disturbing thing because they are sharing false information with you and other people who are gullible enough to believe the(fake news).Another disadvantage is linked to fake news is that there is a lot of click bait on photos or tag lines to attracted people to click on it.
In conclusion my results tell me that the internet has a lot of negative and positive sides.The positive change of the internet might have been useful and the negative might not have.The audience have more power in the internet since they can share their idea's and opinions online for everyone else to view.
